Is there following dominated by your target market? Have they done this before and what were the results?<\/p>\n<h3>Potential Engagement<\/h3>\n<p>Don\u2019t choose an influencer based on the number of followers they have. <strong>Choose them based on the quality of followers<\/strong>, the level of trust they have built up with them and the level of engagement they have had prior to this.<\/p>\n<h3>Quality Content<\/h3>\n<p>Make sure this person isn\u2019t an influencer for everyone and sharing all kinds of articles, reviews and content.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you need is impact.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When the influencer posts your content the audience will want to listen as they have good experiences with them in the past and have built a level of trust.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Samples of good social media influencer campaigns<\/h2>\n<h3>Daniel Wellington<\/h3>\n<p>The Swedish watchmaker didn\u2019t use traditional forms of advertising, instead opting to go with a wide reaching influencer marketing campaign.<\/p>\n<p>He was one of the first to pick up on the potential power of social media influencer marketing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What did he do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He sent a watch to people he identified as Instagram influencers, on one condition.<\/p>\n<p>They share a photo of the watch on their feed.
